A Better Stock Donation Experience for Your Donors

This launch is part of our philosophy that guides everything we build at Infinite Giving to support nonprofits as a fiduciary partner in stewardship.
Karen Houghton
July 8, 2026

At Infinite Giving, we believe generosity should never be slowed down by unnecessary friction. Stock donations are one of the most impactful ways donors can give. In fact, the average stock gift is nearly 62x larger than a typical online cash donation.

Yet historically, the process has felt anything but modern. Donors have often been left wondering, What happens next? Did I complete everything correctly? Who do I contact if I need help?

We're excited to change that by introducing our new Stock Donation Tracker with a redesigned experience that gives donors greater visibility, confidence, and control throughout the entire giving journey.

From the moment a donor submits a stock gift pledge until the transfer is complete, they now have access to a self-service hub that keeps everything in one place.

With Infinite Giving’s new Stock Donation Tracker, donors can:

  • Edit their pledge details if something changes
  • Download the latest transfer instructions at any time, with updates automatically reflected
  • Confirm when they've initiated the stock transfer
  • Add their financial advisor's contact information, automatically triggering an email with everything the advisor needs to complete the transfer
  • Contact our support team directly if they need assistance
  • Cancel a pledge if their plans change

While these may sound like simple improvements, together they eliminate many of the small moments of uncertainty that can delay (or even derail) a stock gift.

We also know that not all brokerage firms operate the same way. One-size-fits-all instructions often create confusion, leading to unnecessary back-and-forth between donors, advisors, brokerages, and nonprofit teams.

That's why we've also redesigned our confirmation emails.

After submitting a stock gift pledge, donors now receive brokerage-specific instructions tailored to their institution. The result is clearer guidance, fewer questions, and a smoother path from pledge to completed gift.

For nonprofits, every improvement behind the scenes matters so your staff can spend less time tracking paperwork, never wonder where a stock gift came from, and more time building relationships with supporters.

This launch is part of a broader philosophy that guides everything we build at Infinite Giving.

We don't believe nonprofits should have to choose between powerful financial tools and a great donor experience. Whether someone is making a $100 cash gift or donating appreciated stock worth tens of thousands of dollars, the giving experience should feel simple, transparent, and worthy of their generosity.

As non-cash giving continues to grow, we're committed to making it easier than ever for donors to give the assets they already own, and for nonprofits to steward those gifts with confidence.

Because when we remove complexity, we don't just improve technology.

We unlock more generosity. Let's get started.
